The Delhi Dawg

The Delhi Dawg

Growing up vegetarian, I never had a hot dog. And as an adult I really had no interest in trying them or vegan versions until I met my friend Marina of Yeah Dawg. She has such passion for what she does and makes a vegan soy free hot dog using just plain vegetables that is delicious. She has created something very special and in turn I wanted to create a cool collaboration between our brands that resulted in The Delhi Dawg.

Ingredients

Hot dog buns

Vegan hot dogs (i.e. Yeah Dawg)

1 head of cauliflower, chopped into florets

3 tablespoons olive oil

salt and pepper

hummus

Indian hot mix

Brooklyn Delhi Tomato Achaar

Method

Preheat oven to 425 Fahrenheit. While oven is heating, toss cauliflower florets with oil and salt in a large bowl. Transfer florets to a baking sheet. Roast for about 35-40 minutes, moving the florets around occasionally, until they are nicely browned but not limp.

Toast your hot dog buns. Slather the inside of the buns with hummus. Place your hot dawg inside the bun. Nestle in your roasted cauliflower. Spoon tomato achaar across the bun and top with hot mix.
